Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). The show earned the actress six Emmy nominations for best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. Through her career of 20 years, she was recognized for her performance in comedy and drama Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. In movies, she is acclaimed for her performance as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice has been used in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Before becoming an actor, she had an established career as a model. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her part in the popular show Firefly. In 2010, she was named one of the hottest women around the globe and was named the best-looking woman on the planet in America by Esquire magazine.
